CZH Inline Tray and Wraparound Case Packer
The CZH is a compact inline cardboard packer with horizontal collation and sideloading. It forms a tray from a blank, loads cans, bottles, or cartons — including unstable containers held by a front stabilizer — and seals with a Nordson hot melt system. Discharge is built to feed an Autopack SIT welding-bar wrapper so the line is one tray-and-shrink cell.
About 12–20 trays per minute. Stainless steel, Allen-Bradley PLC/HMI. Autopack rates this family among its most compact intermittent packers (up to ~15% less floor). The same frame runs high-sided trays or full wraparound cases when you want board instead of film.

How the CZH + SIT cell runs
- Infeed. Product arrives inline; optional lane splitter.
- Collate. Horizontal grouping; sideload onto the blank; stabilizer keeps tippy bottles upright.
- Form and glue. Tray (or wraparound case) folds; Nordson hot melt.
- Transfer. Loaded pack ejects straight into SIT.
- Sleeve. SIT welding bar (two film rolls) wraps the tray; tunnel shrinks.
- Palletize.
The CZH does not shrink-wrap. It makes the tray. SIT sleeves it. For printed film or ~40 trays/min, pair the same CZH with SIT CMOS.
Why plants choose the CZH
It is the inline half of tray-and-shrink. Spec CZH when SIT sits on the same centerline.
Unstable product is designed in. Sideload + front stabilizer — not a flight bar hoping bottles stand.
Small intermittent footprint. Compact stainless cell vs. a separate tray former, loader, and glue station.
Tray today, wraparound tomorrow. High-sided tray and full wraparound are options on this family, not a different machine class.
Allen-Bradley + Nordson. Controls and glue plants already stock parts for.
At a glance
- Inline cardboard tray packer (wraparound case option)
- Horizontal collation, sideload, front stabilizer
- Forms blank, loads, Nordson glue
- About 12–20 trays/min (wraparound cases typically ~5–21)
- Stainless construction, Allen-Bradley PLC/HMI
- Compact footprint (Autopack: up to ~15% less floor)
- Direct discharge to SIT / SIT CMOS
- Single products or multi-packs (multi-lane)
- Custom infeed; transfer height matched to the wrapper (~830 mm class)
Popular Options:

About 12–20 trays/min; wraparound cases about 5–21, depending on pack.
No. CZH/CLM form and load corrugated. SIT sleeves the loaded tray.
For tray-and-shrink, yes — SIT weld-bar (12–22 trays/min) or SIT CMOS (print / ~40). Wraparound cases often ship without film.
Same machine family. Tray + SIT = less board, film sleeve. Wraparound case = full corrugated, film optional. Spec from shipper requirements, not from the model name.
CZH = inline, compact, sideload, better for unstable bottles into SIT. CLM = right-angle multi-lane, flight bar, also good when multipacks already exist.
